Six Months In: How Bay of Plenty Is Going
Six months ago we came into the Bay of Plenty not really knowing what to expect. Looking back now, it's safe to say it's gone better than we could have hoped.
We're now up to two team members working up here full-time, and honestly, they're flat out. We're taking on new clients every single week, and the momentum hasn't slowed down since that first busy month if anything, it's picked up.
One of the things that's stood out to me most over these six months is what it's shown about the way we've built the business. Having the right systems in place for scheduling, for training, for maintaining our standards no matter who's doing the job or where means we haven't just grown in the Bay of Plenty, we've been able to duplicate what already works in the Manawatū. That's not something we take for granted. A lot of small businesses can grow in one place; fewer can pick up what makes them work and set it down somewhere new and have it work just as well. Seeing that happen here has been one of the best proof points of the last six months.
