I came home at lunch time just in case I needed to advise on what to chuck and what to keep. What I saw made me cry. I left a dreary untidy unsorted house with items all over the place. The items were gone and the cleaning process was well underway. After 30 years of struggling I couldn't believe it could all be done in such a short time. When I came home and slowly walked around I sent an email to a friend saying that you haven't cleaned my house - you've given me a new one. The sittingroom looks amazing with everything gone from the tables. The floor is clean. I actually have a room. Each room looks like it is actually the room it is - not multi functional. If I had time to type and you had time to read I would type a detailed list of what I am impressed with including the mannerism and presentation of your staff. Before I started typing this I tried to think of what I could say that would express how truly grateful I am but, to be honest, no words can cover that. You do an amazing job. You have an amazing effect on helping people in their lives. I am truly blessed that I reached out to you, and truly thankful you could help me. Today my husband was told some bad news - his mother has just discovered she has Stage 4 cancer and has been sent home to spend her last days. For him to come home to the house that your staff created for him has been a positive life change and something for him to carry with him as he travels home. Thank you for that. What I wanted to tell you several times by now, I have caught myself on more than one occasion, where I was asking myself of how I / we as a family, would cope without you. I think there is a lot I would give up, before learning to live without your teams of housewives again.
In fact, I don’t even know how we coped without you. There is certainly less arguing between my partner and I, and Tuesday has become a highlight of the week.

I was hesitant at first, because I was a 'one off job' the company requested payment prior to the job being done. Because of the companies excellent reviews I did this, and would have no hesitation doing this again in the future, in fact I will probably not be a 'one off job customer' for long! The cleaning company I attempted to use prior to this did me a favour by mucking me around, and not turning up, as not only was Hire a housewife $52 cheaper, they were professional, prompt and efficient. just wanted to pass on a big thanks and appreciation for the cleaning that was done today. It's always been cleaned well and extra care taken. However, after a big day back at school, netball after school and not getting home till 6. To walk into a lovely clean house and to have the clothes out of the drier folded, new load into the drier and sheets washed was incredible. Not to mention all the other wee jobs that had been done.
